Usage of posting codes

This thread is for examples of how to use various custom and other cool codes on our forum.
(Eventually I will write a custom help page for this information when we start customizing that area as we grow)

We can add many types of custom forum codes from styled header bars for post content, mouse hover spoilers, and possibly even more features to hook into features of this forum.
Please let us know what you would like to see.

Background Coloured Headers:
This colour code is for background colours and uses the entire row.
I have created a extra a 'span only' inline text version below.
This code has been updated to follow both names and # color codes.
Link to the w3 colour name sheet.

Spoilers:
You can use spoilers in your code.
Spoilers are viewable to members and above only.
We don't allow nesting of spoilers due to potential abuse (We might be able to limit nesting to only 1 or 2 spoilers if absolutely needed)
Code on new lines also adds new lines to the spoiler so just keep that in mind.

Readmore - Staff Only Article TAG:
Readmore is a tag which only staff can use in the blogs and articles section.
What it does is clips the article with a message telling the person to read the rest in the forum.
This is useful for long blogs and articles.
If staff don't have the end tag right at the end then only part of the article is clipped which will look weird at this stage.
If there is a need for multiple partial clipping in articles I will modify the tag accordingly to show that a section has been cut out.

Subscript and Superscript added.
This helps with posting quotes from Wikipedia and can be used for all forms of posting by anyone. 

Subscript:
Lowers the given text.

Raises the given text.

Font Awesome
Just implemented font awesome as MyBB Code so we can use it in posts now.
Here is a list of icons there are other lists online.
I'm sure it will come in handy, I wonder if it could be used for prefixes etc.
You use it with just the ending name without the 'fa-' in front.

Background Color Span:
Added a spanned background color using this code
It uses the same code as the color span but works on background.
I have changed the other background-color single line code to match this the code for this as it allows color code numbers as well as names.
