I thought about putting this in the community support area but then no-one would see it.
I also thought about making the community support area public but that would go against its premise of a close in house family support area where people can be comfortable sharing with just the community.
So instead I'm posting in lifestyle which is still fitting in a way.
If anyone is following the Supernova thread they will know that currently processing images are taking a while due to my ongoing currently weird health.
So in community interest here is my public dedicated health status thread and whats been going on and why images are taking a while.
I went to Supernova and took over 2500 photos and about 6 or so videos of cosplays etc.
As usual for conventions my voice was horse and dry and by the end of sunday I could barely speak (lack of fluids too much talking etc to people the usual thing)
I started processing images after a good rest and mid that week I came down with the flu.
For the next month I wasn't feeling up to processing images because any higher emotional stimulation would send me into a coughing fit which did happen doing some more images when I started feeling slightly better one day.
Once the flu broke I really got into processing and uploading a batch of images every second day or so as you can see the thread is up to over 200 images already.
That was until last weekend.
I started working on the competition photos hoping I could power through those and get everything finished and wrapped up, however.
On the weekend I woke up feeling very drained and physically stiff and sore so I took a walk through some local trails and a nice long bath and tried to relax.
I was also having issues as I was staying awake most of a few nights with restless leg (It had subsided for quite a while until recently) which made the drained and lack of energy feeling even worse, I still am waking up multiple times through the night with restless leg.
As well during the week with the weather my allergies dust & pollens really started playing up again and I had a couple bad days with sneezing fits and runny nose despite taking antihistamines.
Now about the time I took a walk I do not know what happened, the left side of my head above my eye started hurting and has been getting gradually worse and the strain of it has been wearing me down.
It has gotten to the point I cannot watch Anime and stopped after 3 episodes of Shuffle! a couple days back, or intensely focus on the computer using my brain without my head hurting (mundane stuff I can manage sort-of), even typing this the front of my head is sore and is all over the front even to the right as I type this.
I saw the doctor today because this is not good and is going to start making me upset soon and it's going on every moment I am awake.
My doctor has created a referral letter and has asked me to get a MRI done of my head and told me to take ibuprofen regularly which is helping somewhat but I still notice some tension etc.
In the family we have have had a history of head stuff in the past, as well I bumped my head in the shower on the metal shower head stand hook thingy about 2-3 weeks before convention which left me a bit concussed feeling dizzy etc for a week and half.
So because of my head currently focusing on processing images which means going through loads of blurry photos to get to the good ones in the set then to make them better in processing and denoise them is definitely not going to make my head feel any better,
If you look at something blurry with a headache it'll make it worse, as your brain and eyes work harder trying to keep focusing, whether going through my photos intensely to find the least blurry ones to process has caused this issue in my head in the first place I don't know.
But all I can do is on monday book into to get the MRI done sometime in the week and take things as it comes.
I will be replying back the scan results etc.
As for my health it's always been weird like this and there are a few things I need to watch out for as I have multiple issues being my back, this affects sleeping and I can wake up with pain or a locked neck from that, my allergies (the worst) and getting colds etc, head pains like this not common but could be back / allergy related, as well as general aches etc.
However all the stuff I mentioned over the last month or so hasn't been too good for me and not too usual to have multiple major things that stick around usually nowadays I will get smaller duration things like back pain one day for a few hours allergies the next or for a few days later etc etc nothing like this though with one after the other this bad.
I'll be updating the thread with more info later, but in the meantime I am trying to stay relaxed and not focus on my pc's tv etc.
